The students and faculty members of the International Program of the Faculty of Law at Syiah Kuala University collaborated on research and published in a Q1 SCOPUS journal

On January 21, 2024, Yanma Aditya Pratama, a student from the Faculty of Law at Syiah Kuala University, published a Scopus Q1 journal as the first author. Yanma is a distinguished student of USK 2023, LLDIKTI 2023, and one of the TOP 50 nationally distinguished students, who has been actively participating in competitions and publications since earlier times.

Previously, Yanma actively engaged in publications, such as publishing with the Research and Development Agency of the Indonesian Parliament with the title: “Academic Constitutional Drafting: Drafting of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia in 1945 Related to the Basic Principles of the State,” and publishing with ALSA Indonesia with the title: “The Development of Regulations on Women’s Affirmative Actions in Indonesia and Solutions to Enhance Women’s Representation in the Indonesian Parliament.” Yanma also joined as a researcher at ALSA Indonesia, contributing to research titled: “Assessing the Essence of Fulfilling Educational Rights in the Zoning System in Indonesia.”

In writing the Scopus Q1 journal titled: “Bibliometric Analysis of the Impact of Environmental Degradation on Women and the Importance of Women’s Representation,” Yanma’s research was conducted in collaboration with USK lecturers M. Ya’kub Aiyub Kadir, Aditya Rivaldi, S.H., LL.M, and USK alumni Dr. Muhammad Iqhrammullah, M.Si, as well as students from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Monash University, Melbourne, and the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia. This collaborative research provides scholarly insights into the fields of law and health, as well as the impact of women’s involvement in parliament.

It is hoped that this research will be beneficial both internationally and in Indonesia. Furthermore, this research is fully supported by Syiah Kuala University, aiming to enhance the university’s impact on Indonesian and international society.
